Weaver's Delight by Lillemor Johansson translated by Katie Zienko and Susie Jones
First published by VävMagasinet in 1989, this stellar collection of linens, rugs, fabrics, and woolens is now back in print. These beautiful and inspiring projects provide a great variety of techniques with many helpful instructional hints throughout, such as: winding a warp half of the width and double the length; 4-sided fringe, damask with a weaving sword, and a simple natural dye lesson. More than half of these cotton, linen, and wool projects use only 4 shafts in straightforward and pleasing weave structures. There is also plenty here for the advanced weaver, including several drawloom projects in damask and opphämta.
